Abstract

Non-ionizing radiation is extensively used in medicine for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Health risks from exposure to different sources of non-ionizing radiation are still not well known. High exposure to non-ionizing radiation produces acute effects on sensitive organs, mostly depending on radiation intensity, frequency and exposure duration. Prolonged low-level occupational exposure may also be hazardous. It is therefore necessary for the medical personnel to be aware of their occupational risk and to know how to apply protective measures in order to protect own health as well as that of the patients.

摘要

非电离辐射在医学中广泛用于诊断和治疗目的。接触不同来源的非电离辐射所带来的健康风险仍不为人所知。高剂量接触非电离辐射会对敏感器官产生急性影响,这主要取决于辐射强度、频率和暴露持续时间。长期低剂量的职业暴露也可能具有危险性。因此,医务人员有必要意识到其职业风险,并了解如何采取防护措施,以保护自己以及患者的健康。
