A comparative analysis of the results of surgical treatment of 603 patients with malignant neoplasms of the thyroid gland before and after the accident at the Chernobyl atomic power station are presented. A very aggressive course of thyroid cancer in pediatric patients after the accident and the ensuing necessity to extend the indications for the performance of thyroidectomy with radical intervention on the regional lymph collectors are noted.
本文对切尔诺贝利核电站事故前后603例甲状腺恶性肿瘤患者的手术治疗结果进行了对比分析。文中指出，事故后儿童患者甲状腺癌病程极具侵袭性，因此有必要扩大甲状腺切除术的适应症，并对区域淋巴结进行根治性干预。
