[The synaptic release of dopamine in the striatum of rats during the acquisition of a passive avoidance conditioned reflex].

To study the striatal synaptic dopamine release during passive avoidance behaviour the intracranial microdialysis technique combined with radioenzymatic assay method was used in Sprague-Dawley rats. It was shown that the acquisition of passive avoidance conditioning and an unescapable footshock led to delayed increases in striatal synaptic dopamine release.
