Abstract

A response of the rat carbohydrate systems of the digestive organs to different stressful factors was shown to depend on their age: it is obvious in 7- to 16-day-old rats and disappears completely by the 30th day of age. It reappears after hormonal administration in 21-day-old rats, whereas in 3-day-old rats no response to the stress or Th injection occurs.
