We report a case of metastatic eyelid and orbital carcinoma in a postmenopausal woman 8 years after mastectomy for cancer. MRI scan T1-weighted images with fat suppression revealed an intraconal lesion surrounding the left optic nerve in addition to the left lid tumor. Excision biopsy demonstrated tumor cells in an Indian file pattern. We diagnosed metastasis of breast carcinoma to the eyelid and orbit. Therapy with tamoxifen reduced eyelid and orbital metastases of carcinoma of the breast. Metastatic breast carcinoma should be listed as one of the causes of lesions of the eyelids.
我们报告一例绝经后女性在乳腺癌乳房切除术后8年出现转移性眼睑和眼眶癌的病例。MRI扫描的脂肪抑制T1加权图像显示，除左侧眼睑肿瘤外，左侧视神经周围有一个肌锥内病变。切除活检显示肿瘤细胞呈单行排列。我们诊断为乳腺癌转移至眼睑和眼眶。他莫昔芬治疗减少了乳腺癌的眼睑和眼眶转移。转移性乳腺癌应列为眼睑病变的病因之一。
