[Seasonal fluctuations in the exocrine function of the pancreas, the state of the antioxidant system of protection and the efficacy of ethonium in chronic pancreatitis].

A differentiated approach is substantiated toward treatment with aethonium (antibacterial, antiinflammatory, antioxidant drug preparation) of chronic pancreatitis with special reference to the status of lipid peroxidation, glutathionic link of antioxidant defence, and exocrine function of the pancreas (season-related rhythm of its activity), in different forms and degrees of severity included.
