Abstract
In peripheral arteriography in 20 patients the non-ionic contrast medium metrizamide (amipaque) and the ionic megluminamidotrizoat (angiografin) was injection. Following amipaque no pain reactions were observed but angiografin caused severe pain in 11 patients and light pain in 3 patients. The diagnostic information of the two contrast media was the same.
