Abstract

Cyclic adenosine 3',5'-monophosphate derepresses enzyme synthesis but does not yield high levels of transformability or detectable levels of competence-related envelope polypeptides. Additional regulatory events must trigger complete expression of competence.

摘要

环磷酸腺苷(cAMP)可解除酶合成的阻遏,但不会产生高水平的转化能力或可检测水平的与感受态相关的包膜多肽。必须有其他调控事件才能触发感受态的完全表达。
