Norwegian authorities plan to increase the number of medical students. The article points out that the number of doctors is rising exponentially and will increase by 3,000, or 27%, by the turn of the century. It is argued that the demand for medical services cannot be viewed as expressing the need for such services. The estimation of this need must be based on medical and ethical considerations.
挪威当局计划增加医学生的数量。文章指出，医生数量正在呈指数级增长，到本世纪末将增加3000人，即增长27%。有人认为，对医疗服务的需求不能被视为对这类服务需求的体现。对这种需求的估计必须基于医学和伦理考量。
