Since CT permits non-invasive imaging of the peripancreatic anatomy, the relationship between early CT findings and objective prognostic signs was evaluated in fifty-five patients with acute pancreatitis. The tomographic severity of pancreatitis was graded in 5 degrees in accordance with classification reported by Hill. An association of CT findings with objective clinical prognostic signs results in more accurate early identification of patients with a high risk of complications. Therefore early CT evaluation of the pancreas is recommended in patients who, upon clinical evaluation, appear to have pancreatitis of moderate or severe degree.
由于CT能够对胰腺周围解剖结构进行无创成像，因此对55例急性胰腺炎患者的早期CT表现与客观预后指标之间的关系进行了评估。根据Hill报告的分类方法，将胰腺炎的断层扫描严重程度分为5级。CT表现与客观临床预后指标相关联，有助于更准确地早期识别并发症高危患者。因此，对于临床评估显示为中度或重度胰腺炎的患者，建议进行胰腺早期CT评估。
