Abstract

Cladosporine A (), a new indole diterpenoid alkaloid, was isolated from the extract of a fungal strain sp. JNU17DTH12-9-01. Its structure was elucidated by extensive spectroscopic analysis, and the absolute configurations were determined by electronic circular dichroism (ECD) experiments. This is the first report of the presence of indole diterpenoid alkaloid in the genus . The antimicrobial activities against 209P, ATCC0111, R330, and FIM709 were evaluated. Compound showed MICs of 4 μg/mL and 16 μg/mL against . 209P and . FIM709, respectively.
