Abstract

strain SVIA2 was isolated from crude oil-contaminated soil from Tabasco, Mexico, and displayed a good potential for the degradation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), using naphthalene, anthracene, phenanthridine, or biphenyl as the unique source of carbon. The SVIA2 genome contains essential genes involved in the degradation of PAHs.

菌株SVIA2从墨西哥塔巴斯科州受原油污染的土壤中分离得到,以萘、蒽、菲啶或联苯作为唯一碳源时,该菌株表现出良好的多环芳烃(PAHs)降解潜力。SVIA2基因组包含参与PAHs降解的必需基因。
