Tetanus after gastrointestinal surgery is an extremely rare but very dangerous disease caused by infection with . Tetanus can occur due to bacterial infection during surgery or dressing change, or the bacteria may exist in the patient's intestines and be discharged with feces. This report describes a 71-year-old woman who developed tetanus 3 days after a hemorrhoidal ligation. Clinicians need to be aware of symptoms of infection that might present in patients who have undergone gastrointestinal procedures.
胃肠道手术后破伤风极为罕见，但极其危险，由感染破伤风梭菌引起。手术或换药过程中细菌感染，或患者肠道中存在细菌并随粪便排出，都可能导致破伤风。本报告描述了一位 71 岁女性，在痔结扎术后 3 天发生破伤风。接受过胃肠道手术的患者可能出现感染症状，临床医生需要对此保持警惕。
