Abstract

The complete mitochondrial genome of the edible fungus (oyster mushroom) was determined using Illumina sequencing. This mitogenome is a circular molecule of 72,650 bp in length with a GC content of 26.28%. Gene prediction showed that 40 putative protein-coding genes, the small ribosomal RNA subunits (rns), and 23 tRNAs were located on the same strand. The mitogenome of has a similar structure to that of in both gene content and gene order. The mitogenome information of should contribute to our understanding of the diversity and evolution of Pleurotaceae and Agaricales.

利用Illumina测序技术测定了食用菌(平菇)的完整线粒体基因组。该线粒体基因组是一个长度为72,650 bp的环状分子,GC含量为26.28%。基因预测表明,40个推定的蛋白质编码基因、小核糖体RNA亚基(rns)和23个tRNA位于同一条链上。该菌的线粒体基因组在基因含量和基因顺序上与另一种菌的线粒体基因组结构相似。该菌的线粒体基因组信息应有助于我们了解侧耳科和伞菌目的多样性和进化。
