This paper presents a meta-analysis of the links between intelligence test scores and creative achievement. A three-level meta-analysis of 117 correlation coefficients from 30 studies found a correlation of = .16 (95% : .12, .19), closely mirroring previous meta-analytic findings. The estimated effects were stronger for overall creative achievement and achievement in scientific domains than for correlations between intelligence scores and creative achievement in the arts and everyday creativity. No signs of publication bias were found. We discuss theoretical implications and provide recommendations for future studies.
本文对智力测验分数与创造性成就之间的联系进行了荟萃分析。对30项研究中的117个相关系数进行的三级荟萃分析发现，相关系数为r = 0.16（95%置信区间：0.12，0.19），与之前的荟萃分析结果极为相似。对于总体创造性成就和科学领域的成就而言，估计效应比智力分数与艺术领域创造性成就及日常创造力之间的相关性更强。未发现发表偏倚的迹象。我们讨论了理论意义，并为未来研究提供了建议。
