Abstract

A Cu(ii)/bisoxazoline ligand-promoted formal [4 + 1] cycloaddition of diazo esters with azoalkenes formed has been developed. This strategy provides a potential protocol for the construction of dihydropyrazoles containing a quaternary center with good to excellent yields.
