Abstract

Optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) is a high-resolution, depth-resolved imaging modality with important applications in ophthalmic practice. An extension of structural OCT, OCTA enables non-invasive, high-contrast imaging of retinal and choroidal vasculature that are amenable to quantification. As such, OCTA offers the capability to identify and characterize biomarkers important for clinical practice and therapeutic research. Here, we review new methods for analyzing biomarkers and discuss new insights provided by OCTA.

光学相干断层扫描血管造影(OCTA)是一种高分辨率、深度分辨成像模式,在眼科实践中有重要应用。作为结构光学相干断层扫描(OCT)的扩展,OCTA能够对视网膜和脉络膜血管系统进行无创、高对比度成像,且便于进行量化分析。因此,OCTA具备识别和表征对临床实践和治疗研究至关重要的生物标志物的能力。在此,我们综述了分析生物标志物的新方法,并讨论了OCTA提供的新见解。
