An aerobic, Gram-stain-negative, catalase-positive, rod-shaped, and motile bacteria, designated as a strain WR6 was isolated from soil in Republic of Korea. Strain WR6 grew at temperatures of 10-37°C, at pH of 5.0-9.0, and at NaCl concentrations of 0-3.0% (w/v). Phylogenetic and 16S rRNA gene nucleotide sequence analysis confirmed that strain WR6 affiliated to the genus , with the nearest relative being ICMP 19557 (98.5%). The genome of strain WR6 was 5,035,462 bp with DNA G+C content of 62.6%. In strain WR6, Q-10 was sole ubiquinone; summed feature 8 (C7 and/or C6) and C cyclo 8 were predominant fatty acids; and diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylmethylethanolamine, phosphatidylcholine, and phosphatidylethanolamine were major polar lipids. Based on these polyphasic taxonomic data, strain WR6 represents a novel species in the genus . Accordingly, we propose the name sp. nov., with the type strain WR6 (=KCTC 92695 =NBRC 116021).
一种好氧、革兰氏阴性、接触酶阳性、杆状、能运动的细菌,被命名为 WR6 菌株,从韩国的土壤中分离得到。WR6 菌株在 10-37°C、pH 值为 5.0-9.0 和 0-3.0%(w/v)NaCl 浓度下生长。基于系统发育和 16S rRNA 基因核苷酸序列分析,菌株 WR6 属于 属,与 ICMP 19557(98.5%)最为接近。WR6 菌株的基因组大小为 5,035,462 bp,GC 含量为 62.6%。在 WR6 菌株中,Q-10 是唯一的泛醌;主要的脂肪酸是 summed feature 8(C7 和/或 C6)和 C 环 8;主要的极性脂是双磷脂酰甘油、磷脂酰甘油、磷脂酰甲醇胺、磷脂酰胆碱和磷脂酰乙醇胺。基于这些多相分类学数据,WR6 菌株代表了 属中的一个新种。因此,我们提出了 sp. nov. 的名称,其模式菌株为 WR6(=KCTC 92695 =NBRC 116021)。
