Evaluating the Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) in patients with hypertension and diabetes is vital for improving treatment adherence and outcomes.
This study assessed HRQoL and its influencing factors among patients with both type 2 diabetes mellitus and hypertension at Can Tho Hospital, Vietnam.
A cross-sectional study was performed on 310 outpatients at the polyclinic, using the Short Form-36 Health Survey (SF-36) between July 2021 and July 2022.
The average HRQoL score among patients was 50.56 ± 21.73. Normal HRQoL was observed in 68.7% of patients, 16.8% had good HRQoL, and 14.5% had poor HRQoL. Lower HRQoL was more common in older patients, females, those with lower education levels, unemployed individuals, insulin users, and those with complications. Significant factors affecting HRQoL included age, occupation, education, and treatment outcomes.
Patients with complications and those on insulin therapy should be closely monitored to maintain their overall health and HRQoL.
评估高血压和糖尿病患者的健康相关生活质量（HRQoL）对于提高治疗依从性和治疗效果至关重要。
本研究评估了越南芹苴医院2型糖尿病和高血压患者的HRQoL及其影响因素。
2021年7月至2022年7月期间，对综合门诊的310名门诊患者进行了一项横断面研究，采用简短健康调查问卷（SF-36）。
患者的平均HRQoL评分为50.56±21.73。68.7%的患者HRQoL正常，16.8%的患者HRQoL良好，14.5%的患者HRQoL较差。HRQoL较低在老年患者、女性、教育水平较低者、失业者、胰岛素使用者和有并发症的患者中更为常见。影响HRQoL的显著因素包括年龄、职业、教育程度和治疗结果。
应密切监测有并发症的患者和接受胰岛素治疗的患者，以维持其整体健康和HRQoL。
