This work presents the first general synthetic access to N-CH₂F and N-CHRF carbamates, thiocarbamates, formamides, alkynamides, and related compounds. The synthetic approach employs N-CHF and N-CHRF carbamoyl fluorides as versatile strategic building blocks, which can be efficiently synthesized in a single step directly from readily available amines or imines.
