Abstract

The rapid digitalization of modern life necessitates robust digital literacy skills. Mental toughness, a crucial psychological attribute, also underpins success in various domains. This study investigates the potential relationship between these two constructs in the context of kickboxing athletes. A total of 242 athletes ( ) participated in the study. Digital literacy was assessed via a validated scale encompassing four subdimensions: attitude, technique, cognitive skills, and social engagement. Mental toughness was measured via established scales. Descriptive statistics, correlational analyses, and regression models were employed to examine the relationships between the variables. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) confirmed the constructs' structural validity. Positive correlations were found between all four subdimensions of digital literacy and mental toughness. Regression analysis revealed significant positive impacts of the attitude (), technique (), and social dimensions () of digital literacy on mental toughness. Findings suggest a robust association between digital literacy and mental toughness in athletes. Increased positive attitudes, strong technical skills, and active social engagement in the digital realm contribute to enhanced mental resilience. Future research should explore potential interventions to foster digital literacy in athletes, potentially leading to improved mental fortitude and performance.

现代生活的快速数字化需要强大的数字素养技能。心理韧性作为一种关键的心理特质,也是各个领域取得成功的基础。本研究在跆拳道运动员的背景下,调查这两种构念之间的潜在关系。共有242名运动员参与了该研究。通过一个包含四个子维度(态度、技术、认知技能和社会参与)的有效量表来评估数字素养。通过既定量表来测量心理韧性。采用描述性统计、相关性分析和回归模型来检验变量之间的关系。验证性因素分析(CFA)证实了这些构念的结构效度。在数字素养的所有四个子维度与心理韧性之间发现了正相关。回归分析显示,数字素养的态度、技术和社会维度对心理韧性有显著的积极影响。研究结果表明,运动员的数字素养与心理韧性之间存在紧密联系。在数字领域中增强积极态度、提高技术技能和积极参与社会活动有助于增强心理复原力。未来的研究应探索在运动员中培养数字素养的潜在干预措施,这可能会提高心理坚韧性和表现。
