Abstract

This announcement presents the high-quality draft genomes of BIL20 and BIL24, isolated from Philippine fermented fish, with probiotic potential. The genomes feature biosynthetic gene clusters linked to antibacterial, antifungal, and cytotoxic activities. This announcement contributes to the limited genomic data on lactic acid bacteria from Philippine fermented foods.
