Abstract

Nichols 1926, one of the most common species in the Yellow River Basin, is endemic to China. However, high-quality molecular data such as mitochondrial DNA, remain scare. In this study, the complete mitochondrial genome of protospecies collected from its type locality, Shanxi Province of China, was sequenced, assembled, and annotated. Our study not only provides essential molecular characterization of from its type locality, which would serve as an important reference for identification, but also would provide reliable genetic resources for further taxonomic, systematic, and genetic studies of the genus .

摘要

尼氏[物种名](1926年发现)是黄河流域最常见的物种之一,为中国特有。然而,诸如线粒体DNA等高质量分子数据仍然匮乏。在本研究中,对采自其模式产地中国山西省的原物种的完整线粒体基因组进行了测序、组装和注释。我们的研究不仅提供了来自其模式产地的重要分子特征,这将作为鉴定的重要参考,而且还将为该属进一步的分类学、系统学和遗传学研究提供可靠的遗传资源。
