Abstract
Citrinin production by Penicillium citrinum NRRL 5907 and NRRL 1842 on liquid media was investigated. Maximum yields of pure citrinin (1.7 g./1.) were produced by P. citrinum NRRL 5907 growing on 2% yeast extract and 5% sucrose.
