Using combinations of methods for detecting Fc receptors and B lymphocytes, non-B, non-T lymphocytes and T lymphocytes we have shown T cells to be significantly increased in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients' peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBL). The possible significance of this finding to the disease process is discussed.
