[On the history of the IVe Groupe: the institution of doubt, an aporia of training?].

The IVe Groupe was constituted through a common recognition of the dynamic virtue of the aporia of training. It serves to preserve a link, the necessity of which is intrinsic to the position of the psychoanalyst, with a psychoanalytic association. It envisages its "style" of organization as a part of training rather than envisaging its institution as a framework within which training takes place. It has thus historically maintained the Freudian advance within the problematics of temporality.
