Abstract

Three steroidal saponins were isolated and characterised from the rhizomes of Polygonatum odoratum. The structure of the compounds were determined as 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 --> 2)-[beta-D-xylopyranosyl-(1 --> 3)]-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 --> 4)-galactopyranosyl-25(S)-spirost-5(6)-en-3beta-ol (1), 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 --> 2)-[beta-D-xylopyranosyl-(1 --> 3)]-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 --> 4)-galactopyranosyl-25(S)-spirost-5(6),14(15)-dien-3beta-ol (2) and 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 --> 2)-[beta-D-xylopyranosyl-(1 --> 3)]-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 --> 4)-galactopyranosyl-25(S)-spirost-5 (6)-en-3beta, 14alpha-diol (3). Compound 2 was identified as a new compound. Compounds 1-3 were found to be strong against the growth of bacteria and plant pathogenic fungi.

从玉竹根茎中分离并鉴定出三种甾体皂苷。化合物的结构确定为3 - O - β - D - 吡喃葡萄糖基 - (1→2)-[β - D - 吡喃木糖基 - (1→3)] - β - D - 吡喃葡萄糖基 - (1→4)-吡喃半乳糖基 - 25(S)-螺旋甾 - 5(6)-烯 - 3β - 醇(1)、3 - O - β - D - 吡喃葡萄糖基 - (1→2)-[β - D - 吡喃木糖基 - (1→3)] - β - D - 吡喃葡萄糖基 - (1→4)-吡喃半乳糖基 - 25(S)-螺旋甾 - 5(6),14(15)-二烯 - 3β - 醇(2)和3 - O - β - D - 吡喃葡萄糖基 - (1→2)-[β - D - 吡喃木糖基 - (1→3)] - β - D - 吡喃葡萄糖基 - (1→4)-吡喃半乳糖基 - 25(S)-螺旋甾 - 5(6)-烯 - 3β,14α - 二醇(3)。化合物2被鉴定为新化合物。发现化合物1 - 3对细菌和植物病原真菌的生长有很强的抑制作用。
