The study aimed to evaluate changes in hematologic parameters, including white blood cell, platelet count, platelet indices, the platelet to lymphocyte and neutrophil to lymphocyte ratios in patients with early and advanced stages of epithelial ovarian cancers.
The study included 100 patients with epithelial ovarian cancer who underwent primary staging exploratory laparotomy. Preoperative hematologic parameters, tumor histopathologic type, grade, stage and serum CA-125 levels were retrospectively analyzed. These parameters were compared between the patients with early (stage I-II) and advanced (stage III-IV) ovarian cancer.
White blood cell count and platelet indices, including mean platelet volume, platelet distribution width and platelet crit did not show a statistically significant difference between groups with early and advanced ovarian cancer. However, the neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio, platelet count, the platelet to lymphocyte ratio and CA-125 level showed a statistically significant difference between the two groups (p<0.05, p<0.01, p<0.001, p<0.01 respectively).
It was found that the neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio, platelet count and the platelet to lymphocyte ratio increased with the increasing stage of ovarian cancer. Furthermore, it was seen that the platelet to lymphocyte ratio is an independent prognostic factor related to the stage of epithelial ovarian cancer.
本研究旨在评估上皮性卵巢癌早期和晚期患者血液学参数的变化，包括白细胞、血小板计数、血小板指数、血小板与淋巴细胞比值以及中性粒细胞与淋巴细胞比值。
本研究纳入了100例行初次分期探查性剖腹手术的上皮性卵巢癌患者。回顾性分析术前血液学参数、肿瘤组织病理学类型、分级、分期及血清CA - 125水平。对早期（Ⅰ - Ⅱ期）和晚期（Ⅲ - Ⅳ期）卵巢癌患者的这些参数进行比较。
早期和晚期卵巢癌患者组之间白细胞计数及血小板指数，包括平均血小板体积、血小板分布宽度和血小板压积，差异均无统计学意义。然而，两组之间中性粒细胞与淋巴细胞比值、血小板计数、血小板与淋巴细胞比值及CA - 125水平差异有统计学意义（分别为p<0.05、p<0.01、p<0.001、p<0.01）。
发现中性粒细胞与淋巴细胞比值、血小板计数及血小板与淋巴细胞比值随卵巢癌分期增加而升高。此外，可见血小板与淋巴细胞比值是与上皮性卵巢癌分期相关的独立预后因素。
