Hantaan and related viruses, the causative agents of hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS), are significant human pathogens. Current epidemiologic evidence indicates that these pathogens are disturbed more widely than once believed, and they are likely to cause disease when man comes into close contact with infected rodents. This report summarizes the characteristics of the Hantaanp-related viruses of the genus Hantavirus including epidemiology, ecological characteristics, routes of transmission, and mechanisms of virus maintenance.
汉坦病毒及相关病毒是肾综合征出血热（HFRS）的病原体，是重要的人类致病原。目前的流行病学证据表明，这些病原体的分布比以往认为的更为广泛，当人类与受感染的啮齿动物密切接触时，它们很可能引发疾病。本报告总结了汉坦病毒属中与汉坦病毒相关病毒的特征，包括流行病学、生态学特征、传播途径和病毒维持机制。
