Abstract

In this study, the complete mitogenome sequence of sea hares, (Mollusca: Aplysiidae), has been decoded for the first time by low coverage whole genome sequencing method. The overall base composition of mitogenome is 31.5% for A, 14.0% for C, 16.4% for G, and 38.0% for T, and has low GC content of 30.5%. The assembled mitogenome, consisting of 14,598 bp, has unique 13 protein-coding genes (PCGs), 22 transfer RNAs, and two ribosomal RNAs genes. The has the common mitogenome gene organization and feature of Aplysiidae. The complete mitogenome of provides essential and important DNA molecular data for further phylogenetic and evolutionary analysis for Aplysiidae.

在本研究中,首次通过低覆盖度全基因组测序方法解码了海兔(软体动物:海兔科)的完整线粒体基因组序列。线粒体基因组的总体碱基组成为:A占31.5%,C占14.0%,G占16.4%,T占38.0%,GC含量低,为30.5%。组装后的线粒体基因组由14,598个碱基对组成,具有独特的13个蛋白质编码基因(PCGs)、22个转运RNA和两个核糖体RNA基因。该海兔具有海兔科常见的线粒体基因组基因组织和特征。该海兔的完整线粒体基因组为海兔科进一步的系统发育和进化分析提供了重要的DNA分子数据。
