Abstract

A pair of uncommon fused multicyclic polyketides with a two- spiro-carbon skeleton, (±)-isoepicolactone, (±)-1, and one new isobenzofuranone monomer (4), together with four other known biosynthetically related compounds were isolated from the fermentation of an endophytic fungus, SCNU-F0002, which was isolated from the fresh fruit of the mangrove plant . Comprehensive spectroscopic analysis, X-ray crystallography, together with calculated ECD, were employed to define the structures. The antibacterial and COX-2 inhibitory activities of the compounds (1-6) were evaluated. A possible biogenetic pathway of (±)-isoepicolactone was confirmed.

从一种从红树林植物新鲜果实中分离得到的内生真菌SCNU-F0002的发酵产物中,分离出一对具有双螺碳骨架的罕见稠合多环聚酮化合物,即 (±)-异表环氧内酯、(±)-1,以及一种新的异苯并呋喃酮单体 (4),同时还分离出了其他四种已知的生物合成相关化合物。通过综合光谱分析、X射线晶体学以及计算ECD来确定其结构。对化合物(1-6)的抗菌和COX-2抑制活性进行了评估。证实了(±)-异表环氧内酯可能的生物合成途径。
