Abstract

A total of 500 paired sera were tested for rubella antibodies by the rubella IgG ELISA and the haemagglutination-inhibition (HI) test. Significant differences between the antibody level in the first and second samples of 417 serum pairs were not detected by either of the tests, whereas significant increases in 71 pairs were detected by both methods. A significant increase of the level in 12 serum pairs was demonstrated by the ELISA, but not by the HI test. The rubella IgG ELSIA is more sensitive than the HI test for diagnosis of recent rubella.

采用风疹IgG酶联免疫吸附测定（ELISA）和血凝抑制（HI）试验对总共500对血清进行风疹抗体检测。两种检测方法均未检测到417对血清样本中第一个和第二个样本的抗体水平存在显著差异，而两种方法均检测到71对血清样本的抗体水平显著升高。ELISA检测显示12对血清样本的抗体水平显著升高，但HI试验未检测到。风疹IgG ELISA在诊断近期风疹方面比HI试验更敏感。
