This study aims to investigate the histopathological and biochemical effects of the topical application of on the healing of surgical wounds created in the oral mucosa of rats with experimentally induced diabetes mellitus.
The study was carried out on 48 adult male Wistar albino rats. The animals were divided into two main groups as control and study groups. Two main groups were divided into three subgroups according to the sacrification days. All rats were given streptozotocin 60 mg/kg, after 72 hours, and those having blood glucose levels above 200 mg/dL were included in the study. Mucosal defects were created in the palatal area of the rats. oil was applied topically twice a day to the wounds of the rats in the study group. Animal were sacrificed on the 3, 7 and 10 days and samples taken from the palatal wounds were examined histologically and biochemically.
On the 7 day, ulceration, necrosis, epithelialization, polymorphonuclear leucocytes and hydroxyproline variables showed statistically significant differences (p<0.05). Ulceration, necrosis and polymorphonuclear leukocytes values were higher in the control group, whereas epithelialization and hydroxyproline values were found to be higher in the group. Among 10-day groups, there was only a statistically significant difference between the values of hydroxyproline, whereas -treated group showed high hydroxyproline levels (p<0.05).
Topically applied did not create any difference on the 3 day, but it has positively affected the wound healing on the 7 and 10 days in diabetic rats.
本研究旨在探讨[具体物质未给出]局部应用对实验性诱导糖尿病大鼠口腔黏膜手术伤口愈合的组织病理学和生化影响。
本研究对48只成年雄性Wistar白化大鼠进行。动物分为对照组和研究组两个主要组。根据处死天数,两个主要组又分为三个亚组。所有大鼠在72小时后给予链脲佐菌素60mg/kg,血糖水平高于200mg/dL的大鼠纳入研究。在大鼠的腭部区域制造黏膜缺损。研究组大鼠的伤口每天局部应用[具体物质未给出]油两次。在第3、7和10天处死动物,从腭部伤口采集样本进行组织学和生化检查。
在第7天,溃疡、坏死、上皮化、多形核白细胞和羟脯氨酸变量显示出统计学显著差异(p<0.05)。对照组的溃疡、坏死和多形核白细胞值较高,而[具体物质未给出]组的上皮化和羟脯氨酸值较高。在10天组中,仅羟脯氨酸值之间存在统计学显著差异,而[具体物质未给出]治疗组显示出高羟脯氨酸水平(p<0.05)。
局部应用[具体物质未给出]在第3天没有产生任何差异,但在糖尿病大鼠中对第7天和第10天的伤口愈合有积极影响。
