Abstract

Occupational health and safety (OHS) training is an important way to prevent construction safety risks. However, the effectiveness of OHS training in China is questionable. In this study, the CHAID (chi-squared automatic interaction detection) decision tree, chi-square analysis, and correlation analysis were used to explore the main, secondary, weak, unrelated, and expectation factors affecting the effectiveness of training. It is the first to put forward the "five-factor method" of training effectiveness. It is found that training effectiveness is positively correlated with job responsibilities, OHS training, and job satisfaction. It is also significantly related to job certificate, training time, training method, and working time. However, the effectiveness of training has nothing to do with personal age, marital status, educational level, job type, and whether or not they have experienced industrial accidents. And the workers on site expect the enterprise to provide security and opportunities such as physical safety, training and learning, and future career development. The results show that OHS system training should be strengthened in the construction industry, and classified training should be carried out according to post responsibility, training methods, job satisfaction, and working hours.

职业健康与安全(OHS)培训是预防建筑安全风险的重要途径。然而,中国 OHS 培训的效果值得怀疑。本研究采用 CHAID(卡方自动交互检测)决策树、卡方分析和相关分析,探讨了影响培训效果的主要、次要、薄弱、不相关和期望因素。首次提出了培训效果的“五因素法”。研究发现,培训效果与工作职责、OHS 培训和工作满意度呈正相关。它与工作证书、培训时间、培训方法和工作时间也有显著关系。然而,培训效果与个人年龄、婚姻状况、教育水平、工作类型以及是否经历过工业事故无关。现场工人期望企业提供安全和机会,如人身安全、培训和学习以及未来的职业发展。结果表明,建筑行业应加强 OHS 制度培训,根据岗位责任、培训方法、工作满意度和工作时间进行分类培训。
