Cystic echinococcosis (CE), is one of the common parasitic infections of domestic animals and humans caused by the larval stages of the tapeworm . This research aimed to identify of CE cysts in cattle isolates from Shiraz slaughterhouse using molecular technique. Thirty CE cysts isolates were collected and total DNA was extracted from protoscolices or the germinal layer of each cyst followed by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) using cytochrome c oxidase I (cox1) and NADH dehydrogenase subunit 1 (NADH-1) mitochondrial genes (~ 450 bp) and sequencing. The sequence results were compared with available reference sequences in GenBank by BLAST system. Phylogenetic analysis was performed using MEGA 5.0 software and the maximum likelihood method. The results showed that all 30 samples examined in this study were identified as sensu stricto (G1-G3 genotypes) with G1 dominant.
囊型包虫病(CE)是由绦虫幼虫阶段引起的家畜和人类常见寄生虫感染之一。本研究旨在利用分子技术鉴定设拉子屠宰场牛分离株中的CE囊肿。收集了30个CE囊肿分离株,从每个囊肿的原头节或生发层中提取总DNA,然后使用细胞色素c氧化酶I(cox1)和NADH脱氢酶亚基1(NADH-1)线粒体基因(约450 bp)进行聚合酶链反应(PCR)并测序。通过BLAST系统将序列结果与GenBank中可用的参考序列进行比较。使用MEGA 5.0软件和最大似然法进行系统发育分析。结果表明,本研究中检测的所有30个样本均被鉴定为狭义种(G1-G3基因型),其中G1占主导地位。
