PURPOSE
To present evidence that systemic corticosteroid therapy may cause central serous chorioretinopathy.
METHODS
A 20-year-old male with idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura was examined during systemic treatment with corticosteroids (100 mg daily).
RESULTS
The patient had central serous chorioretinopathy. Spontaneous recovery accompanied discontinuation of the steroid treatment.
CONCLUSIONS
This case provides further evidence that cortisol may play a role in the development of central serous chorioretinopathy.
目的
提供证据证明全身用皮质类固醇疗法可能导致中心性浆液性脉络膜视网膜病变。
方法
一名20岁特发性血小板减少性紫癜男性患者在接受皮质类固醇全身治疗（每日100毫克）期间接受检查。
结果
该患者患有中心性浆液性脉络膜视网膜病变。随着类固醇治疗的停止，病情自发恢复。
结论
该病例进一步证明皮质醇可能在中心性浆液性脉络膜视网膜病变的发生中起作用。
