Abstract

A Gram-negative, aerobic, rod-shaped, and non-motile bacterium, designated strain R1, was isolated from lakeside soil in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, China. Growth was observed at 15-37 °C (optimum 30 °C), pH 6-8 (optimum pH 7) and salinity of 0-1.0% (w/v; optimum 0.5%). Strain R1 completely degraded 5 mg/L of ochratoxin A within 48 h of incubation. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences indicated that strain R1 belongs to the genus Terrimonas, and showed 99% sequences similarity with Terrimonas pollutisoli H1YJ31. The draft genome of strain R1 was approximately 6.2 Mb with a 41.5% G + C content. The average nucleotide identity and digital DNA-DNA hybridization values between strain R1 and T. pollutisoli H1YJ31 were 90.4% and 41.2%, respectively. The predominant fatty acids of strain R1 were iso-C, summed feature 3 (C ω6c and/or C ω7c), iso-C 3-OH and iso-C G. The major isoprenoid quinone was menaquinone 7 (MK-7). The major polar lipids of strain R1 were phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylglycerol, a phospholipid, two unidentified glycolipids, two unidentified aminophospholipids, and five unidentified polar lipids. Based on phenotypic, genotypic and phylogenetic evidence, strain R1 represents a novel species in the genus Terrimonas, for which the name Terrimonas alba sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is R1 (= GDMCC 1.4673 = JCM 37058 = KCTC 102293 = KACC 23743).

从中国江西省南昌市湖滨土壤中分离出一株革兰氏阴性、需氧、杆状且无运动性的细菌,命名为菌株R1。该菌株在15 - 37°C(最适温度30°C)、pH 6 - 8(最适pH 7)和盐度0 - 1.0%(w/v;最适盐度0.5%)的条件下生长。菌株R1在培养48小时内可完全降解5 mg/L的赭曲霉毒素A。基于16S rRNA基因序列的系统发育分析表明,菌株R1属于地生单胞菌属,与污染地生单胞菌H1YJ31的序列相似性为99%。菌株R1的基因组草图约为6.2 Mb,G + C含量为41.5%。菌株R1与污染地生单胞菌H1YJ31之间的平均核苷酸同一性和数字DNA - DNA杂交值分别为90.4%和41.2%。菌株R1的主要脂肪酸为异C、总和特征3(C ω6c和/或C ω7c)、异C 3 - OH和异C G。主要类异戊二烯醌为甲基萘醌7(MK - 7)。菌株R1的主要极性脂为磷脂酰乙醇胺、磷脂酰甘油、一种磷脂、两种未鉴定的糖脂、两种未鉴定的氨基磷脂和五种未鉴定的极性脂。基于表型、基因型和系统发育证据,菌株R1代表地生单胞菌属中的一个新物种,为此提出名为白色地生单胞菌(Terrimonas alba sp. nov.)的名称。模式菌株为R1(= GDMCC 1.4673 = JCM 37058 = KCTC 102293 = KACC 23743)。
